These pumps are an excellent direct replacement for Aquascape 1500 pumps.  INCLUDES fitting to adapt to your existing Aquascape Brand check valve. Simply cut-off the plastic fitting that is screwed in to your existing pump and reattach the INCLUDED fitting in its place. The only thing extra you will need is the small can of PVC-Flex cement listed below. These pumps are rugged and reliable while still remaining efficient on your electric bill! Fits nicely under skimmer filter mats just like the Aquascape horizontal pumps.

Question...Why should I replace my 7500gph pump with a 5600gph pump?Answer: According to Aquascape, the 7500 pump is recommended to run with a 26ft. minimum head height which reduces its flow to 5300-2200gph. If the pump operates out of this range it will lessen the life and efficiency of the pump. This new 5600gph pump can run at any head pressure under 36' while maintaining its life and saving $$$ on electric consumption. You will not see a difference in water flow when sized to fit according to Aquascape's chart.
